★►SPRING SALE 25% off for a limited time◄★ Cockatoos are cool! Show your love of these beautiful and brilliant birds by adding this one of a kind Sulphur-crested Cockatoo wall hanging to your décor. This handmade sculpture is made of polymer clay, and done without the use of molds. My preferred polymer clay is Super Sculpey. After sculpting, I paint my creations with acrylics. To insure a long lasting finish and enhance the luster of the paints, I apply several coats of a polycrylic protectorant. I apply 3-D crystal lacquer to the eye to add a life-like quality.
This cockatoo sculpture is mounted to a 9” (22.86 cm) x 12” (30.48 cm) cradled birch painting panel. I painted the fronts and sides of the panel with a satin finish interior paint. These cradled panels are very easy to hang as the edge fits nicely over nails or hooks.
