Wonderful couture fashion with this Spadea dress pattern designed by Fira Benenson! Ms. Benenson was born in Russia, but her family moved to London then New York after the Bolshevik Revolution. She grew up to become the head of Bonwit & Teller’s Salon de Couture for many years, and then a fashion designer. She became known for her exquisitely detailed creations. Actress Grace Kelly even wore some of her creations!
